What is Agent skills?

Agent skills are reusable, written instructions that teach an AI agent how a team performs a specific task, such as shipping a feature, reviewing security or writing release notes.

Every team has its own way of doing things: how a feature is shipped, which checks a release needs, how release notes are written. Agent skills capture that know-how as reusable instructions that an agent loads when the task calls for it, so it follows the team's process instead of improvising.
